Job Title: Business Development Executive – Academic Partnerships & Admissions

About Us

The InSilico Academy of Genomic Sciences (ISAGS) is the specialized educational arm of KPCIRC (Kwatra Precision Cancer Institute & Research Centre) - a multidisciplinary group advancing precision oncology, clinical genomics, and computational biology.

ISAGS bridges the critical gap between academic training and industry demands by delivering specialized certifications, masterclasses, and professional upskilling in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and AI in Healthcare.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth across institutional partnerships and student admissions. In this role, you will lead outreach to universities, colleges, and life-science institutions to establish collaborative MOUs, while also expanding our B2B2C admission channels.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Partnerships (B2B):
Identify, pitch, and negotiate collaborative MOUs with universities, colleges, and academic institutions (engaging Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Department Heads).
Structure joint certification programs, credit-sharing initiatives, and institutional workshops.
Pitch and sign MOUs with universities and colleges for collaborative certification programs and credit-sharing modules.
Partner with high schools and educational institutions to launch foundational STEM/Genomics workshops, summer learning modules, and career awareness sessions for students.
Admissions & Channel Growth (B2B2C):
Drive student enrollments for ISAGS programs through strategic channel partnerships, educational consultants, and campus ambassador networks.
Conduct informational webinars, seminars, and orientation sessions for prospective students and researchers.
Academic & Faculty Engagement:
Onboard leading professors, academic researchers, and subject matter experts to collaborate on guest lectures, masterclasses, and curriculum enrichment.
Pipeline & CRM Operations:
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to partnership execution.
Track leads, partnership pipelines, and revenue metrics using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to report on weekly and monthly growth targets.
Industry, Lab & Clinical Tie-ups:
Establish strategic partnerships with diagnostic labs, biotech companies, and clinical centers/hospitals to provide students with practical learning exposure, lab immersions, and internship pathways.
Collaborate with clinical partners to integrate real-world case studies and diagnostic insights into ISAGS learning programs.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: 1–4 years of experience in Business Development, EdTech Sales, Institutional Partnerships, or Academic Admissions.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business (MBA/BBA), Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field (a background in Life Sciences/Biotech is a strong plus).
Key Skills:
Proven track record of closing B2B partnerships or driving educational sales.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable engaging with senior academic leadership and institution heads.
Self-starter with a proactive, target-driven mindset.
