Position: Clerk

Location: Branch Office
Department: Operations / Branches
Working Hours: As per NFAD office timing[9.30-5.30]
Experience: Freshers / Experienced candidates can apply

NFAD Co-operative Society is a trusted member-based financial institution committed to transparent operations, efficient service, and community development across all branches.

Job Objective

The Clerk will support daily branch operations by handling member transactions, maintaining records, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth administrative functioning of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Handle member enquiries and provide information about NFAD schemes
Assist in opening accounts and updating member records
Maintain registers, files, vouchers & daily transaction reports
Support cash counter & front office activities
Prepare and verify documents related to deposits, loans & renewals
Update system entries and maintain accuracy in records
Coordinate with Branch Manager & Accounts team
Ensure compliance with NFAD rules and office procedures
Maintain cleanliness & proper arrangement of files and records

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of office procedures
Good communication skills (English / Malayalam)
Ability to handle members politely & professionally
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / Word)
Attention to detail & accuracy
Honest, punctual & responsible

Qualification

Plus Two / Degree / Diploma in Commerce or related field
Experience in co-operative / banking sector is an advantage
