Experienced ERM Administrator responsible for the management of the Materials Management System (i.e. AVEVA ERM), including administration, vendor management, system configuration standards, and operational performance across Wood, in support of the end-to-end materials lifecycle management during project execution.
Ensures the product is technically fit‑for‑purpose, and deployed consistently across regions through a catalogue of approved deployment configurations. The role leads a global team of product subject‑matter experts and administrators.
Provides functional leadership and guidance to regional focal points and delivery leads, ensuring consistent application without removing regional accountability.
Acts as the authoritative owner of “how the product is configured and used”, while aligning to the capability strategy, standards, and governance set by the Global Senior Manager.
Leads the development, implementation, administration and support of the product.
Tracks, monitors, and communicates product progress against the product roadmap, interfacing with key stakeholders of the Technical Systems and Management Systems teams.
Performance
- Own the operational performance, reliability, and effectiveness of the Materials Management System across projects and assets.
- Act as the single point of accountability for how the product is configured, deployed, and used globally.
- Define, maintain, and govern a catalogue of approved deployment configurations, enabling support of project execution models (e.g. Brownfields, Greenfields).
- Ensure consistent system adoption through clear guidance, training alignment, and engagement with regional teams.
- Monitor usage, performance, and adoption metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead root‑cause analysis of systemic issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage major releases, upgrades, and enhancements, including functional testing and rollout coordination.
- Provide input into the commercial aspects of the assigned product, including:
- Vendor contracts and commercial agreements
- Licensing models and optimisation
- Act as the primary interface with vendors on functional matters, roadmap alignment, and performance.
- Support business cases for enhancements, renewals, and major changes in collaboration with the Capabilities Manager.
- Plan and coordinate the rollout of the Materials Management System (MMS). This includes working with the relevant functions (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Construction) to ensure the MMS is setup in accordance with the Client's and Contract/Project's requirements, and to provide guidance on how the systems should be used to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate the development of the documentation associated with the MMS, e.g. MMS Administration Procedures, training material for users and administrators.
- Plan and coordinate the necessary training in the administration and use of the MMS.
- Provide the governance, leadership and coordination for the development of materials management related reports.
Provide the governance, leadership and coordination for the customisation and configuration of the MMS.

- Translate capability strategy into a clear product roadmap aligned to delivery needs and system maturity.
- Provide authoritative product input to pursuits, execution strategies, and client engagements where required.
- Identify opportunities to standardise, simplify, or retire configurations to reduce complexity and cost.
- Track industry trends and vendor roadmaps relevant to the product and make informed recommendations.
People
- Provide leadership and direction to global product SMEs, including:
- Objective setting and performance management
- Capability development and succession planning
- Knowledge retention and reduction of key‑person dependency
- Act as the functional escalation point for regional administrators and delivery leads.
- Provide clear guidance (not line management) to regional focal points and regional delivery leads on:
- Approved configurations
- Usage expectations
- Non‑standard deployment decisions
Foster a collaborative, service‑oriented culture focused on enabling delivery excellence.

Governance, Policies and Procedures
- Apply and enforce product‑specific standards, configuration rules, and lifecycle controls.
- Ensure the product complies with internal policies, contractual obligations, and information management requirements.
- Manage change control for product configurations and enhancements in line with agreed governance.
- Maintain authoritative documentation for:
- Deployment configurations
- Known constraints and limitations
- Approved deviations
- Escalate strategic, commercial, or systemic risks to the Capabilities Manager.
