Accountant – Multi-Speciality Hospital

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Kadi, Gujarat

Job Description

A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Kadi is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team.

The ideal candidate should hold a B.Com or M.Com degree and have 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience. The candidate should have a good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, vouchers and other accounting documents.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain and reconcile ledgers and bank accounts.
Assist with monthly account closing and financial reporting.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up as required.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and accounting matters.
Assist with hospital billing and financial reconciliation where required.
Prepare regular accounting reports for management.
Support the senior finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.

Candidate Requirements

B.Com or M.Com from a recognised institution.
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Working knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems will be an advantage.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Candidates with hospital/healthcare accounting experience will be preferred.
