Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist
Location: Kalyan, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a reputed hospital in Kalyan, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye disorders, performing ophthalmic procedures, and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat eye diseases, vision disorders, and ocular injuries.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries as per expertise.
Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans.
Manage OPD and IPD patients while maintaining accurate medical records.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Collaborate with optometrists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and quality standards.
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.

Eligibility

Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology.
Valid State Medical Council/NMC Registration.
Experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist preferred.
Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills.
Patient-centric approach with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
