Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up.
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, journal vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and cash-flow statements.
Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances and ensure timely filing and payments.
Coordinate with auditors and provide the required schedules, documents, and supporting information.
Assist with monthly closing and year-end closing activities.
Review accounting entries and identify discrepancies or errors.
Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation and expense control.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related reports.
Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, banks, and other stakeholders regarding accounts-related matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
Experience with accounting/ERP software and advanced Excel functions.
