JD – Housekeeping Guest Service Associate (GSA)

Job Title

Guest Service Associate (GSA) – Housekeeping

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Guest Service Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas while delivering exceptional guest service. The role ensures all assigned areas meet the hotel's quality and brand standards to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds, change bed linens, and replace used towels.
Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, tea/coffee supplies, and minibar items (where applicable).
Clean bathrooms, furniture, windows, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
Ensure guest rooms are clean, hygienic, and ready before check-in.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas, corridors, lobbies, elevators, and staff areas.
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
Handle lost and found items as per hotel policy.
Maintain housekeeping trolley, equipment, and cleaning chemicals properly.
Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
Ensure proper usage of master keys and maintain guest privacy and security.
Update room status and complete assigned cleaning records.
Assist with deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects.
Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and laundry departments for smooth operations.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of housekeeping experience in hotels are welcome.
Basic English communication is preferred.

Working Conditions

Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
