Job Title: Finance & Accounts Executive

Job Location : Kerala , Kochi

Experience : 2–5 Years

Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Executive/ Asst Manager with hands-on experience in Tally , Zoho Books, GST, TDS, E-Way Bills, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience handling finance and accounting functions in both the service and production sectors, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Zoho Books.

Maintain sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries.

Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.

Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.

Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.

GST & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, etc.).

Reconcile GST with books and GST portal.

Manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations and maintain statutory records.

TDS & Tax Compliance

Deduct, reconcile, and deposit TDS as per Income Tax provisions.

Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.

Issue TDS certificates and maintain related documentation.

Coordinate with auditors during statutory and tax audits.

E-Way Bills & Logistics Documentation

Generate and manage E-Way Bills.

Verify invoices, transport documents, and dispatch records.

Ensure compliance with GST movement regulations.

Production & Inventory Accounting

Maintain inventory records and stock reconciliation.

Coordinate with production and procurement teams.

Understand BOM (Bill of Materials), production costing, and inventory valuation.

Monitor material consumption and support cost control initiatives.

Vendor & Customer Management

Process vendor payments and reconcile supplier accounts.

Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables.

Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.

Audit & Compliance

Assist in statutory, internal, and GST audits.

Maintain proper financial records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Skills

Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books and Tally

Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, E-Way Bills, and statutory compliance.

Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

Experience in inventory and production accounting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.

M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
