Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning & Development Manager to lead employee training and development initiatives across hotel operations. The role will focus on improving employee skills, service standards, guest handling, and overall workplace performance through structured training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement annual and monthly training calendars for hotel employees.
Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
Identify training needs through performance reviews, feedback, and departmental discussions.
Conduct training on guest service, communication skills, grooming, hospitality standards, and workplace etiquette.
Coordinate department-specific operational training with HODs.
Conduct refresher training and skill-development sessions for existing employees.
Develop training materials, presentations, handouts, and assessment tools.
Monitor employee participation, training effectiveness, and post-training performance.
Maintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, feedback forms, and training reports.
Conduct assessments, quizzes, role plays, and practical evaluations where required.
Support departmental HODs in developing employees through coaching and on-the-job training.
Identify high-potential employees and support their career development.
Coordinate cross-training and multi-skilling initiatives.
Ensure training programs are aligned with hotel service standards and operational requirements.
Collect employee feedback and continuously improve training methods.
Prepare regular L&D reports and training performance updates for management.
Coordinate external trainers and training vendors whenever required.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, HR, or a related field.
4–8 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Training, or hotel operations.
Previous experience in the hospitality/hotel industry will be preferred.
Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and preparation of training reports and presentations.
Ability to interact effectively with employees at different levels.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
