Job Summary

We are looking for a Continental Commis to assist the kitchen team in preparing high-quality Continental dishes while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking Continental dishes as per standard recipes.
Support the Chef and senior kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare ingredients including cutting, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Monitor ingredient availability and inform the senior chef about shortages.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Assist during breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, and special events.
Follow kitchen SOPs and instructions from senior chefs.
Maintain proper care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or relevant culinary qualification.
1–3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
Basic knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
