Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Instagram & Content Strategy

Own LetsGoa’s Instagram channel end-to-end.
Plan and manage monthly content calendars.
Create and manage Reels, Stories, Carousels and engaging captions.
Develop storytelling-led content around Goa, including hidden places, experiences, travellers, hotels, activities, local businesses and events.
Shoot and source content from locations across Goa.
Coordinate with hotels, activity partners, vendors, creators and other stakeholders for content shoots.
Develop recurring content series and formats that encourage followers to engage, save and share.
Monitor Instagram trends, formats and audio and adapt relevant trends quickly for travel content.

Social Media & Business Growth

Develop Instagram strategies that generate enquiries without making the content overly sales-focused.
Create effective Story CTAs, DM prompts and link-in-bio journeys.
Monitor and manage the DM-to-enquiry funnel and coordinate with the sales/operations team for lead handovers.
Develop Instagram-first campaigns for new activities, hotels, packages, seasonal offers and travel products.
Identify and manage collaborations with Goa-based creators and micro-influencers.
Track and report Instagram performance, including follower growth, engagement, enquiries and conversions.

On-Ground Content Creation

Visit hotels, activity locations, beaches, events and other destinations across Goa for content creation.
Shoot basic photo and video content using a smartphone/camera.
Brief and coordinate with photographers, videographers and content creators when required.
Edit short-form videos/Reels using tools such as CapCut, InShot or similar platforms.

Strategy & Competitor Analysis

Bring new and proactive social media ideas every week.
Understand business priorities and convert them into social-media campaigns.
Monitor competitors and Goa-based travel, hospitality and lifestyle brands.
Identify content opportunities and trends that can improve LetsGoa’s visibility and engagement.

Paid Social Media – Secondary Responsibility

Boost high-performing organic content.
Support simple Instagram advertising campaigns when required.
Coordinate with the digital marketing team for paid campaigns.
Ensure campaigns have trackable links/UTMs wherever applicable.

Must-Have Requirements

3–5 years of hands-on experience in Instagram/social media management.
Experience with a consumer-facing brand is preferred.
Candidates from Travel, Hospitality, Tourism, Lifestyle, Hotels, Resorts or related industries will be preferred.
Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories, Carousels, trends and content formats.
Proven ability to create engaging, storytelling-led content.
Portfolio of Instagram accounts/campaigns personally managed or grown is mandatory.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate measurable results such as follower growth, engagement, enquiries, leads or sales.
Basic shooting and video editing skills.
Comfortable creating content on location and appearing on camera when required.
Strong communication and copywriting skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Strong understanding of Goa and its travel ecosystem will be an advantage.
Must be based in Goa or willing to relocate.
Willingness to work on-site and travel locally across Goa for shoots and content creation.

Preferred Qualification:

Experience with travel booking platforms, hotels, resorts, tourism brands or hospitality businesses.
Experience managing WhatsApp-based lead/enquiry funnels.
Basic knowledge of Meta Ads Manager.
Familiarity with Goa’s destinations, seasons, traveller segments and local experiences.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive and business-minded — not someone who simply posts content according to a calendar.

You should be able to look at Goa and think: “This could be a Reel.”

And then turn that idea into content that people want to watch, save, share, enquire about and ultimately book.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
