Accounts Payable Specialist or Accounts Payable Associate

Susquehanna Management Services Pvt. Ltd. Mohali, Punjab.

Susquehanna Management Services (SMS) is expanding our Corporate Accounting team providing essential accounting and support services to US-based Companies. We are looking for someone to join our fast-paced, performance-driven environment as an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist or AP Associate, where he/she will handle full-cycle AP functions, ensure accuracy in expense allocations, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, verification, reconciliation, expense allocations, and wire payments.

Oversee allocation of invoices/expenses including to inter-company entities, and ensure expenses are in line with corporate policies.

Reconcile accounts payable ledger, vendor accounts, and monthly statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with vendors for payment updates/billing, and liaise with Accounts Receivable, Accounting, and Asset Management teams for accurate cost allocations.

Maintain vendor database, employee expense reports, monthly credit card reconciliations, and workflow approvals for reimbursements.

Generate AP status reports and perform day-to-day financial transactions.

Support continual process improvements with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and excellence.

Requirements:

Semi Qualified CA; Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting

Prior experience with US accounting firms in India is a plus.

Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful with proactive communication skills.

Strong understanding of bookkeeping, AP principles, and ability to analyze data for deviations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

Willingness to learn and develop skills in other team members.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across internal teams.
