Senior Graphic Designer

Company: Blank Media (Trillusion Project Pvt Ltd)

Location: MBP, Mahape, Navi Mumbai

CTC: ₹4.2–₹4.8 LPA (₹35,000–₹40,000 per month)

About Blank Media

Blank Media is a digital marketing and creative agency working across brand strategy, social media, content, design, video production, and performance marketing.

We work with brands across different industries, creating digital-first campaigns, social media content, brand identities, advertisements, packaging, presentations, and other creative communication.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who is creatively strong, technically proficient, and capable of taking ownership of design projects from concept to final execution.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of branding, social media design, visual communication, typography, composition, and current design trends. You should be able to translate a brief into visually compelling work while maintaining consistency with the brand’s identity.

This role requires someone who can work independently, collaborate with strategists and account managers, handle multiple brands, and maintain a high standard of design across every deliverable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative & Graphic Design

* Develop creative concepts and visual directions based on client briefs.

* Design social media posts, carousels, campaigns, advertisements, presentations, and digital creatives.

* Create visually engaging designs while maintaining strong composition, hierarchy, typography, and colour balance.

* Develop multiple creative directions when required.

* Ensure every design communicates the intended message clearly and effectively.

2. Brand Design

* Understand and work within existing brand guidelines.

* Develop brand-consistent visual communication across different platforms.

* Assist with brand identity development, visual systems, moodboards, and creative directions.

* Maintain consistency across typography, colours, imagery, layouts, and overall brand language.

3. Social Media Design

* Design creative content specifically for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

* Understand current social media design trends and visual formats.

* Create scroll-stopping creatives that are visually strong while remaining relevant to the brand.

* Design static posts, carousels, stories, thumbnails, ads, and campaign assets.

4. Campaign & Concept Development

* Work with Creative Strategists and Account Managers to develop campaign ideas.

* Translate strategic concepts into strong visual executions.

* Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute original design ideas.

* Develop key visuals and creative systems that can be adapted across multiple formats.

5. Team Collaboration

* Work closely with Creative Strategists, Copywriters, Account Managers, Video Editors, and Production Teams.

* Understand briefs and ask the right questions before beginning execution.

* Provide creative inputs and suggest better visual solutions where appropriate.

* Take feedback constructively and implement revisions efficiently.

6. Presentations & Client Work

* Create visually strong presentations, pitch decks, moodboards, and creative references.

* Present design concepts and explain the creative thinking behind them when required.

* Work with the Account Management team to ensure client requirements are understood and executed properly.

7. Production & Digital Content

* Collaborate with photographers, cinematographers, and video editors when a campaign involves photography or video production.

* Provide visual references, moodboards, styling references, and design direction where required.

* Ensure the visual language remains consistent across static and video content.

8. Quality Control

* Review designs before final delivery.

* Ensure correct dimensions, typography, alignment, image quality, and brand consistency.

* Maintain organized working files and source files.

* Ensure all final deliverables are properly prepared for digital and print use where applicable.

Software Requirements

Mandatory

* Adobe Photoshop – Advanced

* Adobe Illustrator – Advanced

Preferred

* Adobe InDesign

* Figma

* Canva

* Adobe After Effects – Basic knowledge

* AI-powered design and creative tools

Candidates should also be comfortable learning new design and AI tools as the industry evolves.

Key Qualifications / Mandatory Skills

* 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.

* Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

* Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, hierarchy, and visual communication.

* Excellent social media design skills.

* Strong understanding of branding and brand guidelines.

* Ability to develop creative concepts rather than simply execute briefs.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously.

* Strong presentation and communication skills.

* Ability to work under tight deadlines.

* Strong creative problem-solving skills.

* Ability to take ownership of projects from concept to final delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a digital marketing, advertising, branding, or creative agency.

* Experience working with premium/lifestyle, fashion, hospitality, real estate, or D2C brands.

* Experience creating complete social media campaigns.

* Understanding of motion graphics and basic animation.

* Experience working with photography and video production teams.

* Knowledge of AI tools used for design, ideation, image generation, and creative workflows.

Experience & Education

* 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.

* Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.

* A strong portfolio is mandatory.

* Relevant professional experience and quality of work will be given more importance than formal qualifications.

Work Requirements

* Full-time position.

* Work from office at MBP, Mahape, Navi Mumbai.

* No hybrid/WFH arrangement.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative agency environment.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

* Immediate or short-notice joining preferred.
