Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a passion for quality assurance, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities

Understand project requirements, specifications, and user stories for effective test planning.
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and usability testing.
Identify, document, track, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Validate bug fixes and ensure product quality before release.
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and QA discussions.
Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.
Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance.
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
Basic understanding of API testing and database validation is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
