Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify and generate new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, surgeons, hospital administrators, purchase/procurement teams, biomedical engineers, and other healthcare professionals.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions for prospective customers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate medical device solutions.
Generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, conferences, exhibitions, and market research.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and follow-up to negotiation, order closure, and post-sales support.
Prepare quotations, proposals, sales presentations, and other commercial documents.
Follow up regularly with prospects and existing customers to ensure business conversion and repeat orders.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for product delivery, installation, training, and after-sales support.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
Submit regular sales reports and provide market feedback to the management.
Ensure all sales activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable company and healthcare regulations.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in B.Sc., B.Pharm, B.Tech/B.E., Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in medical device, healthcare, diagnostic, pharma, or hospital sales preferred.
Strong understanding of hospital sales and healthcare customer requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to understand and explain technical product features and clinical applications.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a field-sales environment.
Strong relationship-building and customer-handling abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM/sales reporting tools.

will be preferred.

CRM and sales-reporting accuracy
