Job Title: Executive – GST, TDS & Indian Accounting

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Executive – GST, TDS & Indian Accounting to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting end-to-end accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong career in accounting and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting

Maintain books of accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions.
Process journal entries, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.

2. GST Compliance

Prepare and reconcile GST data.
Assist in filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
Reconcile GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, and GSTR-3B.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve GST-related discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with GST regulations and timelines.

3. TDS Compliance

Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable provisions.
Prepare and file TDS returns within statutory timelines.
Reconcile TDS deductions and maintain accurate records.
Assist in issuing TDS certificates and responding to TDS-related queries.

4. Accounting & Financial Support

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Assist in ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
Support statutory audits and provide required documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

5. Tally & MIS Reporting

Record accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Generate accounting reports and MIS as required by management.
Maintain accurate financial data and support reporting requirements.
Prepare Excel-based reconciliations and schedules.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in accounting, GST, TDS, or finance (Freshers with relevant internship experience may also apply).
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting principles.
Hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Work Location

4 days/week at the Client Office – Aerocity, Mahipalpur, New Delhi
1 day/week at the FinAdvantage Office – Sector 48, Gurgaon
Timings will be 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 10 AM to 7 PM
