Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer – MAC Traditional & Pulse Valves

Location: Jharsuguda, Odisha

We are expanding our sales team and are looking for a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer to develop business across Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

Position Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, conducting technical sales activities, and achieving sales targets for MAC Traditional Solenoid Valves and MAC Pulse Valves.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of pneumatic systems and be capable of interacting with maintenance, instrumentation, production, utility, project, and procurement teams in heavy industries.

Key Responsibilities

Promote MAC Traditional Solenoid Valves for OEM, project, maintenance, and replacement applications.
Develop business for MAC Pulse Valves used in Dust Collection Systems and Fume Treatment Plants (FTP).
Generate new business opportunities through regular customer visits and relationship development.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, application studies, and customer trials.
Identify replacement opportunities for existing pneumatic and pulse valve installations.
Prepare techno-commercial quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Follow up on enquiries until successful order closure.
Coordinate with the application engineering team for product selection and technical support
Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, maintenance teams, and plant management.
Maintain CRM records, submit daily visit reports, and provide market intelligence.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
2–8 years of experience in industrial B2B sales or maintenance of pneumatic directional control solenoid valves.
Good understanding of industrial pneumatic systems and compressed air applications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with strong customer relationship management abilities.
Ability to independently plan customer visits, identify business opportunities, and close orders.
Willingness to travel extensively across Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
