The Sr Director – Enterprise Technology India is the senior Technology leader for RSM US in India, accountable for technology operations, business enablement, resilience, and execution of agreed global technology direction. This role leads India-based technology capabilities, while connecting local delivery to global standards, direction, and leadership forums. The leader sets India technology priorities in partnership with business and global technology stakeholders, builds India as a strategic technology capability hub.

Essential Duties:

Own India technology service delivery quality, operational resilience, staffing, vendor performance, and investment recommendations for India-based technology teams. Establish India-specific SLAs, service performance targets, capacity plans, continuity expectations, and escalation paths aligned to global standards. Manage the India technology workforce, including hiring, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and critical talent retention. Ensure continuity and improvement of existing India-based IT services, including development and operations across all aspects of technology serving RSM LLP as aligned with the US CTO.
Define and operate the governance and execution model connecting India technology delivery teams to US-led capability groups and broader RSM LLP technology direction. Partner with technology capability leaders to determine the appropriate India delivery model for each capability area, including managed hybrid, center-of-excellence, shared services, or embedded models. Exercise defined decision rights for India technology priorities, workforce plans, vendors, service performance, and local execution exceptions, while ensuring alignment to global standards. Represent India technology in the larger technology leadership group and maintain the reporting cadence, capacity planning discipline, escalation model, and observability metrics needed for accountable delivery, including performance and investment transparency.
Serve as the primary technology relationship leader for India business leadership. Translate business demand from India into technology priorities, capacity plans, and investment decisions. Ensure local India technology needs are met at the same service standard as found in other LLP member firms.
Drive India-specific FY27 technology roadmap aligned to the global technology 2030 vision. Identify and develop the next generation of technology leaders in India; formalize the organizational leadership structure for technology in India. Partner with relevant internal teams on India headcount, compensation, and financial governance. Manage India-specific vendor and partner relationships relevant to technology operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or computer related discipline), Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Proven desire to lead by example and constantly be looking for opportunities to stay connected to the evolving business and tech landscape

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

Demonstrated ability to leverage strong communication skills to lead a department, function or group of individuals
Demonstrated ability to attract, lead, motivate, and retain a team
Ability to manage financial forecasts, resource plans, and financial models

EXPERIENCE

20+ years IT management experience
10+ years of experience focused on customer service / engineering disciplines or software development organizations at scale
10+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and developing people
Preferred: Experience building and leading global support / engineering and/or software development organizations

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Ability to lead through collaboration, balancing multiple stakeholders – Required
Strong critical thinking skills – Required
Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills - Required
Exceptional analytical and process development skills - Required
