Full job description

Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees and stores, maintaining IT systems and devices, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, CCTV, POS, and other IT-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees and store teams for hardware and software issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Provide support for POS/billing systems, ERP systems, attendance machines, and other business applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, switches, and other network-related issues.
Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors for technical support and maintenance.
Support CCTV systems and coordinate with vendors for CCTV-related technical issues.
Maintain proper records of IT assets, devices, software, accessories, and assigned equipment.
Manage user accounts, passwords, access permissions, and basic system security requirements.
Assist employees with email, application, login, and password-related issues.
Ensure antivirus, operating system updates, backups, and basic security measures are maintained.
Respond to IT issues reported by stores and resolve them within the required timeframe.
Conduct regular checks of IT equipment and systems at all stores.
Maintain an IT support log for reported issues, actions taken, and resolution status.
Coordinate the installation and setup of new IT equipment for new stores and employees.
Ensure company IT equipment is handled and used properly.
Escalate major technical or security issues to management or the concerned vendor immediately.
Maintain confidentiality of company systems, data, passwords, and other sensitive information.
Assist management with IT-related projects, system upgrades, and process improvements.

Store Support

The IT Support Specialist will be required to provide technical support to all company stores and ensure the smooth functioning of:

POS and billing systems
Internet and Wi-Fi
CCTV systems
ESSL/biometric attendance systems
Computers and printers
ERP/software applications
Networking equipment
Company mobile devices and SIM-related technical issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
Good knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide support across multiple store locations.
Ability to work independently and respond to urgent technical issues when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely resolution of IT support requests.
Minimum downtime of critical IT systems.
Proper maintenance of IT assets and records.
Timely resolution of store-level technical issues.
Regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
Compliance with company IT and information-security policies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
