About KabhiB Bakery

Since 1996, KabhiB (Kanhai Foods Ltd) has been one of Gujarat's most trusted bakery brands — operating 96+ retail outlets across 33 cities and reaching 5,000+ stores daily through our General Trade and Modern Trade networks. As we scale up nationally in 2025, we are expanding our frontline General Trade sales team to deepen market penetration, grow distributor partnerships, and drive shelf presence across every territory.

About the Role

The Sales Executive – General Trade is a field-first role built around one purpose: growing KabhiB's reach and sales through the General Trade channel. You will work closely with distributors and their salesmen on the ground, ensure stores are covered, schemes are executed, and the distributor network stays healthy and motivated.

This is a morning-start, high-activity field role requiring someone who is self-driven, comfortable on the road, and genuinely enjoys building relationships — with retailers, distributor teams, and new business partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distributor & Salesman Collaboration

Work closely with assigned distributors and their salesmen on a daily basis to plan, execute, and monitor sales activities in the territory.
Support distributor salesmen in increasing the number of active retail outlets covered on each route — identifying gaps and helping onboard new stores.
Assist in resolving distributor and salesman grievances promptly; act as the liaison between the field team and company management.
Identify and onboard new distributors and salesmen who have the network, capability, and enthusiasm to represent KabhiB in their areas.

2. Retail Coverage & Business Development

Actively travel across the assigned territory to scout, approach, and convert new General Trade outlets into KabhiB customers.
Work with existing retailers to grow order size, shelf space, and product range — moving beyond basic listing to genuine display and visibility gains.
Study competitor activities, new product launches, pricing, and schemes in the market and report findings to the reporting manager regularly.

3. Supply, Stock & Delivery Management

Ensure distributors are receiving timely product deliveries and adequate stock to meet market demand without shortages or excess inventory build-up.
Monitor stock levels and freshness at distributor godowns; flag and help reduce damage, returns, and expired stock — improving realisation for both the company and the distributor.
Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain team to resolve any delivery issues affecting distributor service levels.

4. Scheme & Offer Execution

Ensure all company-driven trade offers, promotional schemes, and seasonal activations are communicated clearly to distributors and their salesmen.
Verify that schemes are being implemented correctly at the retail level — that the right discounts, free goods, or display incentives are actually reaching the stores.
Track scheme utilisation and provide feedback to the sales leadership team on scheme effectiveness and ground-level challenges.

5. DSR Maintenance & Reporting

Maintain accurate Daily Sales Reports (DSRs) for all routes under assigned territory — capturing store count, billing frequency, order volumes, and coverage gaps.
Use DSR data to identify underperforming routes, low-coverage pockets, and growth opportunities; share actionable insights with the reporting manager.
Submit daily/weekly reports covering market activity, competitor intelligence, new store additions, distributor feedback, and scheme execution status.

What We're Looking For

Eligibility

Age: 21 years or above.
Valid two-wheeler driving licence; own two-wheeler is mandatory for daily field travel.
Willingness to start early (by 6:00 AM) and spend the majority of the workday in the field.

Experience

1–3 years of field sales experience in General Trade / FMCG distribution preferred.
Prior experience working with distributors, covering retail beats, or managing GT routes is a strong advantage.
Freshers with strong drive and local market knowledge will also be considered.

Skills & Attributes

Strong relationship-building skills — comfortable engaging with retailers, distributor staff, and wholesale market contacts.
Basic numerical ability to track DSRs, order volumes, and scheme calculations.
Proactive attitude toward finding new business — not just servicing existing accounts, but actively growing the base.
Good communication in local language (Gujarati / Hindi); English proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.
High energy, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently in the field without constant supervision.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
