School Nurse - Oberoi International School

Full time role (Non Teaching).

Should be working in a school setup.

Looking for Immediate Joiner

Key Deliverables:

Administer first-aid to staff / students, medication and specialized medical treatments for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, and/or injured children.
Monitor students referred for illness and/or injury for the purpose of attending to their immediate health care concerns and initiating follow-up care.
Provide care to students with chronic illnesses and extremely high-risk students (e.g. allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures,Nose Bleeding etc).
Maintains contact with parents/guardians for the purpose of advising them of changes in student health and/or recommending further medical and/or emotional intervention.
Maintain students’ confidential files and records (e.g. health care plans, immunization records etc.) for the purpose of providing information required.
Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases.
Collaborate with parents, students, teachers, staff, health care providers, for the purpose of promoting and/or securing student health services.
Prepare first-aid kits for field trips, swimming pools, P.E activities & Security Departments.
Maintaining record of First-Aid Room stock.
Independently handling the School’s infirmary.
Coordinating with the Doctor on emergency situations.
