Full job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Restaurant and the Organisation . This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership, fundraising, marketing, and operational skills. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Nariman House Museum:

Lead fundraising efforts by engaging corporates, institutions, and donors to support the museum’s development.
Develop and execute strategic plans for the museum’s launch and ongoing operations.
Conceptualize and implement engaging activities and events to attract visitors.
Work closely with designers, historians, and curators to create impactful narratives for the museum.
Oversee the budgeting and financial planning for museum operations.
Collaborate with the Director on strategic initiatives and reporting.
Build partnerships with cultural and educational institutions to enhance the museum’s outreach.

Kosher Restaurant:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Develop marketing strategies to increase footfall and brand recognition.
Manage supplier relations, inventory, and cost control for the restaurant.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise staff, handle training, and maintain operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7-8 years of experience in operations, fundraising, marketing, or hospitality management.
Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and fundraising targets.
Excellent marketing and branding skills to promote both the museum and restaurant.
Strong negotiation skills to secure sponsorships and partnerships.
Proactive, initiative-taking mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
