Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consultancy, with a focus on understanding client needs, developing comprehensive solutions, and supporting the sales process from lead qualification to closure.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT services—particularly in AI/ML, Data

Engineering, Software Engineering, and Cloud—and the ability to translate business priorities

into practical, technology-driven solutions. Working closely with Sales, Delivery, Solution

Architects, Engineering, and Leadership teams, you will serve as a trusted advisor, driving

customer satisfaction, retention, adoption, and account expansion.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Conduct a thorough analysis of client business processes and technical environments.
Develop and deliver engaging presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions.
Strong understanding of IT services, processes, and methodology.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop detailed statements of work and project plans.
Produce techno-functional proposals – conceptual and detailed and have a strong sense of business acumen.
Keep track of sales leads and opportunities, and actively follow up to ensure timely closure.
Provide active support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including client meetings, demonstrations, and negotiations.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to help them achieve their business objectives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)
Prepare estimations – effort and cost estimations to augment sales proposals – Support at external and internal customer-facing events – as a technical representative to support business calls – Build custom demonstrations and deliver Proof Of Concepts (POC)
Actively participate in internal business/sales team meetings and provide consultative support – Build technical relationships with delivery teams, prospects, or existing customers to support overall prospect/customer engagement.
Travel to client sites as needed (domestic and international).

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in a similar role, in IT consultancy environment.
Proven track record of successfully solutioning and closing complex software deals.
Proven experience in bid management, proposal development, or related roles within the IT industry.
Strong understanding of business processes and technology solutions, with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable proposals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience working with clients in the USA and UK is highly desirable.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Engineer, or in a Pre-Sales role is a plus.
