Job Title: Assistant Professor – Science

School/Department: School of Science
Location:patiala punjab
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–5+ Years preferred

Salary 50,000 to 80,000 monthly

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and academically qualified Assistant Professor – Science to join our university. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, student mentoring, curriculum development, and participation in academic and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
Conduct research and publish research papers in reputed journals.
Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.
Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and departmental events.
Contribute to curriculum development and academic administration.
Maintain student records and evaluate academic performance.
Promote interdisciplinary learning and research.
Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the department/university.

Eligible Qualifications

Master’s degree in the relevant Science discipline with minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline preferred/required as applicable.
NET/SET qualification as applicable under prevailing UGC regulations.
Relevant teaching/research experience will be an advantage.
Strong communication, teaching, research, and presentation skills.
