Key Responsibilities

Prepare the Operation Theatre before every surgical procedure.
Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments, drapes, and equipment.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT nurses during surgeries.
Operate and maintain OT equipment, including cautery machines, suction units, monitors, OT lights, and anesthesia machines.
Ensure strict infection control and aseptic protocols are followed.
Maintain inventory of surgical instruments, consumables, and OT supplies.
Clean and disinfect the OT after every procedure.
Report equipment malfunction or shortages to the concerned authority.
Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per hospital policy.
Maintain OT records and documentation as required.
Assist in emergency surgeries and remain available for emergency OT calls when required.
