Job Description – Pre-Primary TeacherPosition Title:

Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Summary:

A Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for nurturing and educating young children aged 2–6 years in a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment. The teacher helps develop children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills through creative activities, play-based learning, and structured lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities and lessons.
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Teach basic concepts such as numbers, colors, shapes, letters, and social skills.
Encourage creativity through art, music, storytelling, and play.
Monitor and assess children’s progress and development.
Maintain discipline and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Organize classroom materials and maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.
Support children in developing good habits, confidence, and independence.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) / Montessori Training or related field.
Previous teaching experience in preschool or kindergarten preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and passion for working with young children.
Basic classroom management skills.
