Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee Employee Relations The role is responsible for managing Employee Relations (ER) Intake and Case Management processes ensuring timely accurate and compliant handling of employee concerns. This includes receiving ER cases through multiple channels such as calls emails and portals creating and tracking cases in the case management system and triaging them based on defined risk levels and escalation protocols. The incumbent will manage the resolution of low-risk ER concernssuch as attendance leave or policy clarification issuesin alignment with established Policies and Procedures Manuals. They will document all case actions communications and resolutions to ensure compliance with audit and retention standards. High-risk cases (e.g. harassment discrimination) will be appropriately routed to the retained ER team per defined escalation matrices. Additionally the role supports ER hotline management provides Tier 1 HR support and contributes to maintaining and updating process documentation and policy manuals. The position requires strong analytical documentation and interpersonal skills to ensure fair consistent and efficient case resolution while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company policies Responsibilities: - Policy & Process Management - Incorporate Customer policy changes into process documents Policy and Procedures Manuals and other relevant documentation. - Develop maintain and update procedures manuals detailing ER processes to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery. - Employee Relations Intake & Case Management - Receive ER concerns via calls emails or portal and acknowledge receipt promptly. - Create cases in the case management system and triage them to the appropriate resolver group as per the Policy and Procedures Manuals. - Assess the nature of ER issues (low-risk vs high-risk) using the provided triage matrix and apply resolution logic accordingly. - Manage the resolution of low-risk ER concerns (e.g. - attendance issues leave policy questions) in compliance with policies. - Engage with employees and managers for low-risk ER concerns documenting all actions taken to resolve the issue. - Route high-risk cases (e.g. - harassment discrimination) to the retained ER team following the defined escalation matrix. - Document all actions meeting notes and communications in the case management tool for low-risk cases. - Ensure closure of low-risk ER cases in line with documentation retention and audit standards. - ER Hotline Management - Provide Tier 1 support via the HR Hotline and log all interactions in the system. - Resolve low-risk ER concerns following established policies and procedures. - Route complex or high-risk queries to the relevant case handlers or retained team members.
