Job Description

Defining the scope of testing, identifying test objectives, and choosing the right approach for various Salesforce components. This includes creating comprehensive test plans that outline resources, schedules, and methodologies.

Creating detailed test cases that accurately reflect real-world Salesforce workflows, including custom objects, validation rules, and role-based access. This involves translating complex business requirements into effective test scenarios.

Executing manual test cases for Salesforce applications, focusing on functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). This also includes performing exploratory testing.

Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for Salesforce products. This often involves building end-to-end regression suites for Salesforce managed packages, Lightning Web Components, Apex Controllers, Triggers, and Flows.

Identifying, documenting, logging, and tracking software defects using tools like Jira, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-verification of fixes.

Performing thorough regression testing to ensure that new features, updates, or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Automation is key here to streamline repetitive tasks.

Validating workflows and integrations within Salesforce environments to ensure they run smoothly and align with business goals.

Working closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define implementation needs, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Preparing test documentation, including automation scripts, test data setup, test reports, and coverage metrics.

Staying updated on the latest Salesforce releases and features to effectively test and validate new functionalities.
