Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive at Patoliya Infotech, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects into clients. You will work under the guidance of our senior BD team and be trained in our complete sales process, service portfolio, proposal writing, and client communication. This is a high-energy, target-oriented role with excellent growth prospects for performers.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential clients through LinkedIn, Google, freelance platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr), and directories like Clutch and GoodFirms
Send personalized connection requests, cold emails, and InMail messages to generate leads
Understand the IT services offered by Patoliya Infotech and explain them clearly to potential clients
Qualify leads - identify whether a prospect has a genuine need, budget, and decision-making authority
Schedule and conduct discovery calls and online meetings with interested prospects
Prepare and send customized proposals, presentations, and service documents
Maintain and update CRM records with lead status, follow-up dates, and conversation history
Follow up consistently with warm leads via email, WhatsApp, and calls until a decision is made
Coordinate with technical and project management teams to get accurate cost estimates and timelines
Support in onboarding new clients, ensure a smooth handover after deal closure
Report daily/weekly leads, calls, and conversion status to the Business Development Manager
Assist in preparing content for LinkedIn posts, company profile updates, and case studies

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - clear, confident, and professional
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with people
Basic understanding of IT services such as website development, mobile apps, software products, and digital solutions
Proficiency in MS Office - Word (for proposals), Excel (for tracking), PowerPoint (for presentations)
Comfortable using LinkedIn, Gmail, and Google Meet / Zoom for professional communication
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage time and priorities independently
Ability to handle rejection positively and stay persistent in follow-ups

Educational Qualification

BBA / MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration (preferred)
OR B.Com / B.Sc. / B.A. with strong communication skills and a keen interest in sales
OR B.E. / B.Tech graduates who have interest in business and client-facing roles
Candidates who have completed internships in sales, marketing, or client servicing will be preferred

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

Prior experience or internship in IT sales, digital marketing, or inside sales
Knowledge of platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Clutch, or GoodFirms
Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce
Basic knowledge of digital marketing - SEO, social media, email campaigns
Ability to write persuasive and professional business emails and proposals
Good understanding of how software development projects work and what clients typically need
