Diploma / B. Tech in mechanical, or related field
2–5 years of experience in programming
Create CNC programs for 5-axis VMC machines using CAM software like Mastercam, SolidCAM, or PowerMill.

Knowledge of G-code & M-code programming.
Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, NX, etc.).
Understanding of 5-axis machining strategies.
Ability to read GD&T and technical drawings.
Tool selection and machining process knowledge.
Read engineering drawings and 3D models and convert them into machining programs.
Set tools, fixtures, offsets, and work coordinates on the machine.
Optimize cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut).
Run trial programs and troubleshoot errors.
Ensure part accuracy using measuring tools like vernier, micrometer, or CMM.
Maintain program documentation and production reports.
Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams.
