Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Machine Operator for our masala manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for operating production and packaging machines, maintaining production quality, and ensuring smooth manufacturing operations. Candidates having prior experience in FMCG, food processing, spice, or packaging industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production/packaging machines efficiently.
Start, stop, adjust, and set machine parameters as per production requirements.
Handle machines used for mixing, filling, sealing, packing, or grinding of masala products.
Ensure smooth production flow with minimum downtime.
Perform basic troubleshooting in case of minor machine issues.
Inform maintenance team regarding major breakdowns or technical problems.
Check product quality, weight accuracy, sealing, and packaging standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around machines and production areas.
Follow food safety and factory safety guidelines properly.
Load raw materials and packaging materials into machines when required.
Maintain daily production records and machine operation reports.
Coordinate with production supervisors, quality team, and maintenance staff.
Ensure proper machine performance and reduce wastage during production.
Conduct regular checking of machine parts and report abnormalities immediately.

Required Skills

Basic technical and machine handling knowledge.
Understanding of FMCG production process.
Ability to work in shifts.
Attention to quality and safety standards.
Basic troubleshooting ability.
Teamwork and discipline.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in FMCG, food processing, spice, or packaging industries will be preferred.
Experience in operating pouch packing, sealing, filling, or mixing machines is an advantage.

Education

ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th pass candidates can apply based on experience.
