Freelancing Opportunity

Azure Data Engineer – 8+ Years Experience

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ADF, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Power BI, with exposure to cloud-based data engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
Build and optimize big data processing solutions using PySpark and Python.
Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, governance, and security.
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for business insights.
Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processing efficiency.
Implement best practices for data engineering, coding standards, and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Databricks
Python
PySpark
SQL
Power BI
Experience working with Azure cloud services and modern data platforms.
Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and big data processing.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, or Snowflake is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD and version control tools like Git.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
