Ivan's Luxury Eyewear and Opticals is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team at our Vennala showroom.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in optical shops, eyewear stores, or lens-related businesses. The candidate should have strong knowledge of optical products, lenses, frames, and customer consultation, along with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
The role involves providing a premium customer experience, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable eyewear and lens solutions, and contributing to both individual and store sales performance.
QualificationsEducation
- Minimum Plus Two / Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Additional qualifications in optical retail or eyewear sales will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in:
- Optical shops
- Eyewear retail stores
- Optical lens companies
- Premium eyewear stores
- Luxury retail environments
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of spectacle lenses, coatings, frames, sunglasses, and optical products.
- Good understanding of different lens types and their applications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Malayalam and English. Hindi is an added advantage.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable eyewear solutions.
- Proven ability to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a premium and fast-paced retail environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Consultation & Sales
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Recommend suitable frames, sunglasses, lenses, and optical solutions.
- Explain lens features, coatings, brands, pricing, and benefits clearly to customers.
- Handle customer queries and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Convert customer enquiries into successful sales.
- Build strong and long-term customer relationships.
Optical & Lens Knowledge
- Demonstrate good knowledge of prescription lenses, lens materials, coatings, and premium lens options.
- Assist customers in selecting lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and requirements.
- Coordinate with optometrists and other team members to ensure accurate customer service.
- Ensure orders and customer requirements are properly communicated and followed up.
Sales Target & Performance
- Achieve assigned individual sales targets.
- Contribute towards achieving overall store sales targets.
- Promote premium and high-value eyewear products.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Follow up with customers and potential leads to improve conversion.
Store Operations
- Maintain proper product displays and ensure the showroom is clean and well presented.
- Maintain accurate information regarding products, prices, and availability.
- Assist with stock checking and inventory-related activities when required.
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of premium eyewear.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with optometrists, sales staff, and store management.
- Support team members in achieving store targets.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
- Participate in product training and company development programs.
