Executive Search Consultant / Headhunter – US & UK Markets

Location: Remote

About the Role :

We are looking for a well connected, experienced Executive Search Consultant (Headhunter) who has already worked in executive search recruitment for the US or UK market and brings an existing network of client relationships and senior candidate contacts. This is not just a delivery focused sourcing role; we want someone whose professional relationships can directly open doors to new client mandates and passive senior candidates. You'll work directly with C suite and senior executives at US/UK companies, running searches end to end while also helping grow the firm's client base through your existing network.

Key Responsibilities:

Leverage your existing network of HR leaders, founders, and CXOs at US/UK companies to originate new client relationships and search mandates for the firm.
Partner directly with clients to understand their hiring mandates, organizational needs, and ideal candidate profiles.
Tap into your existing senior level candidate contacts to fill searches faster and access passive talent that isn't reachable through cold outreach alone.
Manage the end to end executive search process: mandate intake, market mapping, candidate research, outreach, screening, and shortlist presentation.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of senior level candidates (Director level and above) across relevant industries and functions.
Conduct in depth candidate assessments, including competency based interviews, background checks, and reference calls.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy recommendations.
Manage multiple concurrent searches while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate and up to date records in the ATS/CRM system.
Represent the firm professionally in client calls, often during US/UK business hours.
Negotiate offers and manage the closing process between clients and candidates.
Bring prior experience working for a global or India based RPO/executive search firm serving Western clients.
Apply domain expertise in a specific vertical (e.g., Technology, SaaS, Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing) to searches in that space.
Required Skills and Experience:
6+ years of hands-on experience in executive search, retained search, or senior level recruitment specifically for US and/or UK based companies. This is a hard requirement, not a nice to have.
An existing, active network of client side contacts (HR leaders, founders, CXOs) and/or senior candidate relationships in the US/UK market, built through prior agency or in-house recruiting roles. Be prepared to speak to the nature and depth of this network during the interview process.
A track record of successful senior/executive level placements you can speak to (client names and confidential details can remain anonymized).
Strong understanding of Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior executives.
Comfortable working flexible hours to overlap with US/UK time zones.
Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and stakeholder management skills, comfortable pitching the firm's services to prospective clients.
Ability to manage ambiguity and work independently in a fast paced, target driven environment.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

A Note on Non Compete & Non Solicitation :

Given the nature of this role, candidates should be able to confirm they are not bound by non compete, non-solicitation, or confidentiality agreements with previous employers that would restrict them from engaging former clients or candidate contacts. We expect candidates to operate within the bounds of any such agreements from prior roles.
