About the Role

As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring SEO strategies for Bytez Corp and its client websites.

You will work closely with the content, social media, design, web development, and digital marketing teams to improve search rankings, website performance, organic traffic, and overall online visibility.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, off-page SEO, content optimization, and SEO analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective SEO strategies for multiple client websites.
Conduct detailed keyword research based on search volume, competition, search intent, and business relevance.
Identify primary, secondary, long-tail, and location-based keywords.
Perform complete on-page SEO optimization for websites and landing pages.
Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, internal links, and website content.
Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify website issues affecting search performance.
Monitor website indexing, crawling, broken links, redirects, canonical tags, sitemap, and robots.txt.
Improve website structure, internal linking, and overall search engine accessibility.
Plan and execute effective off-page SEO and link-building strategies.
Research and build relevant, high-quality backlinks using ethical and sustainable SEO practices.
Conduct competitor SEO analysis to identify keyword, content, backlink, and ranking opportunities.
Create SEO content briefs and work with content writers to produce search-friendly blogs and website content.
Optimize existing blog posts and website pages to improve rankings and organic traffic.
Monitor keyword rankings and track changes in search visibility.
Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to analyse website performance and organic traffic.
Monitor important SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, backlinks, and indexed pages.
Identify ranking drops and investigate possible technical, content, or algorithm-related issues.
Implement local SEO strategies for businesses targeting specific cities and service areas.
Optimize and improve Google Business Profile visibility where applicable.
Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports for internal teams and clients.
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, search behaviour, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
Work with the content and digital marketing teams to ensure SEO is aligned with overall marketing objectives.
Manage SEO activities and deadlines across multiple client accounts.

Required Skills

Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Strong knowledge of keyword research and search intent.
Practical understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO.
Knowledge of quality backlink building and link-building best practices.
Understanding of website architecture, internal linking, and crawlability.
Basic understanding of HTML and website structure.
Ability to perform SEO audits and identify optimization opportunities.
Good understanding of content optimization and SEO copywriting.
Knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile.
Ability to analyse SEO data and identify actionable insights.
Good communication and reporting skills in English and Tamil.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in a digital marketing or branding agency.
Familiarity with tools such as:
Google Search Console
Google Analytics
Google Keyword Planner
Google Trends
SEMrush
Ahrefs
Ubersuggest
Screaming Frog
Basic knowledge of WordPress and CMS platforms.
Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
Google Analytics or Google-related certifications.
Previous experience managing SEO for multiple industries or client websites.
