Junior SEO Executive

Location: Bavdhan, Pune – In-officeExperience: 0 – 1 Yrs

Who are we:

Founded by a 2X Entrepreneur and 2 IIT-R graduates, we are an AI SaaS Product that is changing how SMBs and Social media marketers create content for their Social Media Platforms. Our AI makes Ready-to-use ads, videos, social media posts, creatives, captions from a 1-liner text input or a Shopify/E-Com product. We are Angel-funded (by one of the most respected VCs in India).

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior SEO Executive to join our SEO team and help grow our organic search presence.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on link building, outreach, off-page SEO, and SEO execution. You will work closely with the SEO team to identify opportunities, execute campaigns, track results, and contribute to improving organic rankings and traffic.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, communication, experimentation, and getting things done. Freshers with a strong understanding of SEO and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute link-building and off-page SEO activities
Identify relevant websites, publishers, blogs, communities, and other potential link-building opportunities.
Conduct email and LinkedIn outreach for guest posts, link insertions, partnerships, collaborations, and other backlink opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with bloggers, website owners, publishers, and relevant industry contacts.
Research competitors' backlink profiles and identify new opportunities for link acquisition.
Evaluate backlink opportunities based on relevance, website quality, authority, traffic, and other SEO metrics.
Maintain and regularly update outreach and link-building trackers and monitor campaign performance.
Monitor existing backlinks and identify lost, broken, or potentially harmful links.
Assist with keyword research, SERP analysis, competitor research, on-page SEO, internal linking, and other SEO activities as required.
Work with the content team to identify content-led link-building opportunities and recommend SEO improvements.
Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO platforms to support research and analysis.
Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, backlinks, referring domains, and other important SEO metrics.
Coordinate with and manage interns/junior team members working on outreach, prospecting, and other SEO activities.
Review and ensure that outreach and link-building activities meet quality standards.
Stay updated with changes in search algorithms, SEO best practices, and emerging organic growth strategies.
Experiment with new outreach, link-building, and SEO approaches and document what works.

What We're Looking For

0–1 years of experience in SEO. Freshers with strong SEO fundamentals can also apply.
Good understanding of off-page SEO, link building, backlinks, and outreach.
Basic understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, search intent, and how search engines work.
Strong research skills and the ability to identify high-quality and relevant websites for outreach.
Good written and verbal English communication skills, particularly for outreach.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and managing large amounts of prospect/outreach data.
Analytical mindset and willingness to work with SEO data and performance metrics.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently once trained.
Good attention to detail, especially when evaluating websites and conducting outreach.
Willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt quickly.

Good to Have

Previous experience with blogger outreach, guest posting, digital PR, or link building.
Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Experience using outreach or prospecting tools.
Basic understanding of technical SEO and SEO audits.
Previous internship or freelance experience in SEO/digital marketing.
SEO or digital marketing certifications.
