Role Description
We are looking for a sharp, strategic, and creatively driven Brand Manager who can take ownership of how a brand is positioned, communicated, and perceived across digital channels.
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, maintaining brand consistency, driving integrated campaigns, and working closely with creative, social media, SEO, performance marketing, and content teams.
This role requires someone who can think beyond individual posts and campaigns and understand the bigger picture — the brand's positioning, audience, communication style, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
You will be expected to convert business objectives into clear brand strategies, creative directions, campaign ideas, and measurable outcomes.
Prior Digital Marketing Agency experience is mandatory for this role.
Candidates without hands-on experience working in a digital marketing agency environment will not be considered.

- Not someone who only coordinates between creative and client teams.
- Not someone who only manages social media posting schedules.
- Not someone who simply executes briefs without understanding the brand strategy.
- Not someone who focuses only on individual campaigns without looking at overall brand consistency.
- Not a reporting-only or project-tracking function.
- Not someone who waits for instructions before taking ownership.
Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with the client's business objectives.
- Understand the brand's target audience, positioning, value proposition, tone of voice, and competitive landscape.
- Translate business goals into clear brand communication strategies.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning across digital channels.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Ensure every campaign and communication contributes to the larger brand objective.
- Continuously evaluate whether the brand's communication is relevant, consistent, and differentiated.
2. Brand Communication & Consistency
- Establish and maintain consistency in the brand's tone, messaging, visual language, and communication style.
- Review creative concepts, content, campaigns, and messaging before execution.
- Ensure communication remains aligned with the brand's identity across social media, websites, advertisements, and other digital touchpoints.
- Develop or refine brand guidelines, communication frameworks, and messaging pillars where required.
- Ensure different teams understand and follow the brand's communication direction.
- Identify inconsistencies in brand communication and proactively address them.
3. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop campaign concepts based on brand objectives, audience insights, and market trends.
- Build campaign strategies covering concept, messaging, content direction, creative requirements, and distribution channels.
- Work with creative and content teams to convert campaign strategies into executions.
- Coordinate with performance marketing teams to ensure campaigns are structured for both brand impact and business outcomes.
- Track campaign timelines, deliverables, and execution quality.
- Review campaign performance and identify learnings for future campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are not just creative but also strategically relevant and outcome-driven.
4. Creative Direction & Content Oversight
- Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, copywriters, and social media teams.
- Provide clear creative briefs and strategic direction.
- Develop campaign themes, content pillars, storytelling approaches, and communication ideas.
- Review creative outputs for brand relevance, quality, messaging, and consistency.
- Encourage fresh and innovative approaches to brand communication.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools for ideation, research, content development, and creative workflows.
- Ensure creative execution reflects the intended brand positioning.
5. Digital & Social Media Brand Management
- Work closely with social media teams to build a strong and consistent digital brand presence.
- Develop social media communication strategies aligned with the overall brand strategy.
- Review content calendars for brand consistency, relevance, and storytelling.
- Identify emerging social media trends relevant to the brand.
- Develop campaigns and content formats that improve brand visibility and engagement.
- Ensure social media communication maintains the right balance between brand building, audience engagement, and business objectives.
- Review social media performance and use insights to improve future communication.
6. Performance Marketing & Digital Growth Oversight
- Have a working understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads and how paid media supports brand and business objectives.
- Collaborate with performance marketers on campaign messaging, audiences, creative direction, and positioning.
- Understand key metrics such as CTR, CPL, ROAS, reach, impressions, engagement, and conversions.
- Review campaign performance from both a brand and business perspective.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign messaging and creative performance.
- Ensure paid campaigns remain aligned with the overall brand strategy.
7. SEO & Content Strategy
- Have a basic understanding of SEO and how search visibility contributes to brand growth.
- Work with SEO teams to align content strategy with brand positioning and audience intent.
- Ensure website and content communication reflects the brand's tone and messaging.
- Identify content opportunities based on search trends, audience behaviour, and business priorities.
- Ensure SEO-driven content does not compromise brand quality or positioning.
8. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Participate in client discussions related to brand strategy, campaigns, communication, and creative direction.
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable brand requirements.
- Present campaign ideas, strategies, and recommendations confidently.
- Handle strategic discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate strategic recommendations rather than simply waiting for client briefs.
- Build strong relationships with clients by demonstrating ownership and strategic understanding.
9. Brand Performance & Analytics
- Track brand and campaign performance across relevant digital channels.
- Analyse engagement, reach, traffic, conversions, campaign performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Identify what is working, what is not, and why.
- Use data and audience insights to improve brand strategies.
- Prepare and present meaningful insights rather than simply sharing numbers.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends regularly.
- Use performance data to influence future creative and brand decisions.
10. Innovation & AI Adoption
- Stay updated with emerging digital marketing, branding, content, and social media trends.
- Explore new tools, platforms, and approaches that can improve brand performance.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other relevant tools for research, ideation, analysis, and content development.
- Encourage AI-assisted workflows while maintaining human creativity and strategic thinking.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality through technology and automation.
11. Brand Growth & Business Impact
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
- Recommend new campaigns, content formats, platforms, or communication strategies.
- Understand how brand-building activities contribute to business growth.
- Identify opportunities for expanding the brand's digital presence.
- Work with the Pod Manager / Delivery Head to develop strategic recommendations for clients.
- Contribute ideas that can improve client retention, account growth, and overall brand performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a digital marketing or branding agency.
- Strong understanding of brand management and marketing strategy.
- Experience in developing and executing brand campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media.
- Working knowledge of content strategy and creative communication.
- Basic understanding of SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to present ideas and strategies confidently.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with designers, video editors, social media, content, SEO, and performance teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands/campaigns simultaneously.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

- Can balance creativity with business objectives.
- Proactive and capable of taking ownership without constant supervision.
- Strong presentation and client-facing skills.
- Thinks strategically but is also comfortable getting into execution-level details.
