Project Manager – Digital Marketing Agency

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of day-to-day project delivery across a fast-paced digital marketing agency.

This is a delivery and execution-focused role. You will ensure that requests are converted into clearly defined tasks, assigned to the right people, progressed on time, reviewed for completeness, and delivered without items being missed.

You will work closely with management and cross-functional digital teams, keeping priorities clear, following up on deliverables, identifying risks early, and ensuring projects move from request to completion.

The right person is highly organised, persistent with follow-ups, comfortable holding people accountable, and strong enough to escalate issues before they become delivery problems.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Workflow Management

Receive project requests and translate them into clear, actionable tasks.
Prioritise work based on deadlines, urgency and business impact.
Assign tasks to the appropriate team members and establish clear ownership.
Maintain visibility of active, pending and upcoming projects.
Track deliverables from initiation through completion, including approvals and revisions.
Monitor deadlines and proactively address work that is falling behind.

Delivery & Accountability

Follow up consistently on outstanding tasks and commitments.
Ensure team members understand priorities, deadlines and expected outcomes.
Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints and delivery risks early.
Escalate delays, dependencies and unresolved issues to management with clear context.
Keep projects moving rather than waiting for problems to resolve themselves.
Ensure agreed processes and agency standards are followed.

Quality & Completion Control

Review completed work for completeness, accuracy and alignment with the original requirement before it moves forward.
Ensure requested revisions are completed and properly closed.
Identify missing information, errors or gaps before delivery.
Maintain a high standard of execution across multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication & Reporting

Act as the central coordination point between management and production teams.
Provide clear and timely updates on project status, risks, priorities and overdue items.
Coordinate meetings or follow-ups when required to keep delivery on track.
Ensure communication is clear, documented and action-oriented.

What We’re Looking For

4–5+ years of relevant experience in project management, digital project coordination, agency operations, account management, or delivery management.
Proven experience managing multiple projects, deadlines and team members simultaneously.
Experience working in a digital marketing, advertising, web, creative or similar agency environment is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to assign work, monitor progress, follow up and drive completion.
Strong understanding of project workflows, dependencies, approvals and revisions.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain consistent follow-through.
Comfortable working evening/night hours aligned with Canadian business operations.
Willingness to commit to a long-term, full-time position.

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who naturally takes ownership of delivery.

You do not simply update a project tracker you know what is pending, who owns it, when it is due, what is blocking it, and what needs to happen next.

You are comfortable following up repeatedly when necessary, challenging delays professionally, escalating issues at the right time, and keeping management informed without requiring constant supervision.

Experience coordinating digital marketing, website, creative, campaign or other agency-based projects will be a strong advantage.
