About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical, technically strong, and execution-focused SEO & AI Search Specialist to manage and scale the organic and AI search presence of the global Columbia Machine Group ecosystem across multiple industrial brands, divisions, and international websites.
This is not a basic SEO role. You will think strategically, execute technically, and manage search visibility across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia - spanning traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy across multiple international B2B manufacturing websites.
- Build scalable SEO frameworks covering technical, on-page, content, local, international, and AI search optimization.
- Create SEO roadmaps aligned with business goals, product launches, dealer networks, and lead generation objectives.
- Manage keyword strategies across all business units.
- Optimize for both traditional search engines and AI-driven search ecosystems (AEO / GEO / SGE).
2. Technical SEO
- Perform advanced technical SEO audits across all company websites.
- Identify and resolve: indexing issues, crawl inefficiencies, Core Web Vitals problems, duplicate content, canonicalization, redirect chains, international SEO errors, structured data issues, mobile usability, and JavaScript rendering.
- Implement and manage XML sitemaps, Robots.txt, Schema markup, Breadcrumbs, Hreflang, Faceted navigation controls, and internal linking architecture.
- Coordinate with the developer and conduct QA on all implementations.
3. International & Multi-Brand SEO
- Manage SEO across multiple global domains, subdomains, and country-specific websites.
- Ensure proper international SEO implementation across US, India, Brazil, Poland, UK, and other regional markets.
- Handle multilingual SEO strategies and hreflang management.
- Standardize SEO governance across all group companies while adapting to regional search behaviour.
4. Content Strategy & Optimization
- Conduct B2B keyword research focused on commercial and informational intent.
- Create in coordination with the content writer, detailed content briefs for product pages, industry solutions, blogs, case studies, technical articles, FAQs, and video SEO assets.
- Optimize existing content for rankings, CTR improvement, featured snippets, AI search visibility, and topical authority.
- Build content clusters and internal linking structures around core machinery solutions.
- Develop programmatic SEO strategies for large-scale product catalogue pages.
5. AI Search Optimization (AEO / GEO)
- Optimize websites for AI-generated search experiences, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Gemini, Perplexity, and Bing Copilot.
- Implement structured content strategies for entity recognition and machine readability.
- Monitor brand mentions and discoverability within generative AI search environments.
- Develop zero-click search strategies to maintain brand visibility in AI-dominated SERPs.
- Use LLM visibility tracking tools (e.g., Profound, Otterly.ai, SE Ranking AI tracker) to measure AI search presence.
6. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Monitor SEO KPIs: organic traffic, lead conversions, keyword rankings, crawl health, engagement metrics, revenue attribution, and SERP visibility.
- Build monthly executive dashboards with actionable insights.
- Use data to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
- Track competitor visibility and benchmark against industrial sector peers.
7. Website & CMS Management
- Work extensively with WordPress and enterprise CMS environments.
- Ensure SEO best practices during website redesigns, migrations, new page creation, product launches, and development deployments.
- Collaborate with UI/UX and development team to improve conversion-focused search experiences.
8. Off-Page SEO, Digital PR & Authority Building
- Understanding of backlink analysis, authority metrics, link audits, and off-page SEO best practices.
- Develop link-building strategies through industry publications, trade associations, PR campaigns, dealer/distributor networks, and technical publications.
- Improve domain authority and topical trust across all business units.
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical SEO
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, international SEO, local SEO, enterprise SEO, and AI search optimization.
- Deep understanding of crawling & indexing, structured data/schema, site architecture, log file analysis, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, CSS, HTML, and rendering & crawl budgets.
Tools & Platforms
- Hands-on experience with: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, WordPress, Excel / Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, PageSpeed Insights, Looker Studio, Bing Webmaster Tools, LLM visibility tools such as Profound, Otterly.ai, Notebook LM or equivalent is a strong advantage.
Content & Marketing
- Understanding of B2B industrial buyer journeys and technical content optimization.
- Experience with conversion optimization and lead-generation SEO strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with content writer, designer, and developer effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4–6 years of SEO experience in B2B, manufacturing, engineering, machinery/automation, or digital agencies handling enterprise clients.
- Experience managing multiple websites and international SEO workflows simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of working with WordPress and enterprise CMS.
- Familiarity with AI-powered SEO workflows, automation tools, and programmatic SEO at scale.
- Experience with industrial or manufacturing websites is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of data extraction, log analysis, or SEO automation is a bonus.
- Knowledge of software like Canva, PSD, Figma, InDesign, Premier pro is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and paid promotion over different search engines like Bing, Microsoft, google is a strong advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
