About your team
The HR Systems Team sits within the FIL Platforms function and works in partnership with Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partners and business groups to provide assistance in the technological support on Workday Human Capital Management System and other HR applications such as Cornerstone On Demand and LinkedIn Learning
About your role
This role focuses on delivering unified, high-quality reporting solutions across HRIS platforms to support data-driven decision-making and service delivery excellence. While Workday remains a core system, the role requires a broader perspective across multiple HR technologies. The ideal candidate will apply AI-enabled tools and techniques to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, design scalable solutions, and ensure data integrity and governance. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and contributes to HR technology transformation projects
About you
Reporting & Analytics

Design, development, and continuous improvement of advanced Workday reporting solutions across HCM, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, and Recruiting.

Provide technical direction and oversight for Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics solutions, ensuring they are scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable.

Drive reporting standards, governance, quality assurance, and best practices across the team.
AI, Automation & Innovation

Champion an AI-first and automation-focused mindset within the team, continuously identifying opportunities to improve how reporting solutions are designed, developed, tested, documented, and supported.

Explore and adopt Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities to enhance developer productivity, reporting operations, data analysis, and user experience.

Identify suitable use cases for AI agents and intelligent automation across reporting and HR technology workflows.
Strategic HRIS Initiatives

Contribute to the HR technology and reporting roadmap, with a focus on analytics, AI, automation, self-service, and unified reporting.

Identify opportunities for reporting rationalization, process optimization, automation, and improved service delivery.

Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of new reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Collaboration

Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (HR, Finance, CPO Tech) to understand and fulfill reporting needs.

Provide expert guidance on Workday reporting capabilities and solutions.

Engage with internal clients and team members to gather reporting requirements and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
5–7 years of overall experience in HRIS, HR Technology, Workday, or related domains, with 4+ years of strong hands-on experience in Workday Reporting.

Strong expertise in Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite Reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and related reporting capabilities.

Strong understanding of Workday HCM and experience working with modules such as Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, and Recruiting.

Good knowledge of Workday Business Processes, Security Model, data sources, and reporting security.

Experience working in an Agile environment, with practical knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and experience operating within an Agile Release Train (ART).

Awareness and practical understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts, including the potential use of AI agents to automate or augment reporting and HR technology workflows.

Ability to evaluate reporting requirements and determine opportunities for automation, self-service analytics, AI-assisted insights, and simplification of existing solutions.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with HR, Technology, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Effective, results-driven written and verbal communicator, capable of communicating technical concepts and data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills and Certifications

Workday Pro Certification (Reporting, HCM, or other relevant modules)

Understanding of prompt engineering, responsible AI practices, data privacy, security, and governance considerations when applying Generative AI within an enterprise environment.

Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools.

Experience driving reporting governance, rationalization, standardization, and self-service reporting adoption within a large enterprise environment.
