Client Social Media Content Execution
Receive the social media brief from the GEC Digital Ops Executive — platform, content calendar dates, content themes, brand guidelines, approval process, client contact for content approvals
Build the client social media content calendar in the agreed format (typically a Google Sheet or Notion doc) — scheduled posts with copy, hashtags, and visual brief
For each post: write the copy, brief the designer (in-house or external) on the visual requirement, assemble the complete post for client review via the Ops Executive
Manage the client approval cycle — submit content pack 5 working days before first scheduled post; incorporate feedback; resubmit within 24 hours of receiving revisions
Schedule and publish all approved content on the client's social channels using Buffer, Hootsuite, or direct platform scheduling — at the client-approved dates and times
For Engage Flow clients specifically: coordinate content distribution across the client's social channels, owned newsletter, and GEC Newswire as part of the content amplification plan
Client Social Media Community Management
Where community management is in-scope for a client account: monitor client's LinkedIn/Twitter for comments, mentions, and DMs daily during business hours
Respond to routine engagement (likes, generic comments) using pre-approved response guidelines; escalate sales enquiries, press mentions, or sensitive responses to the Ops Executive within 1 hour
Track and report: follower growth, reach, engagement rate, link clicks per post — included in the weekly client status update prepared by the Ops Executive
