Job Title: PLC Operator

Department: Production / Maintenance
Location: Plant Site
Reports To: Plant Head

Job Summary:

The PLC Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting PLC-based machinery and automation systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor PLC-controlled machines and systems.
Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.
Identify and troubleshoot PLC faults, alarms, and breakdowns.
Coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Maintain proper records of machine performance and downtime.
Ensure safety standards and SOP compliance during operations.
Perform basic PLC programming adjustments (if required).
Report any abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.

Skills & Requirements:

Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Automation.
Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred).
Understanding of electrical circuits and control panels.
Ability to handle breakdown situations efficiently.
Experience: 1–3 years (preferred in manufacturing/plant environment).

Working Conditions:

Shift-based duty (Day/Night rotation).
Work in plant environment with machinery and automation systems.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic Salary: As per company standards

Overtime (OT):

Paid as per company policy and applicable labour laws
Extra hours beyond shift will be compensated

Incentives:

Performance-based incentives based on production targets and efficiency
Attendance incentive

Other Benefits:
