We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead business growth in the Events, Branding, and Activation space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting decision-makers, winning large accounts, and turning creative ideas into successful business opportunities.
You will play a key role in expanding client partnerships, leading sales initiatives, and helping brands create impactful experiences through innovative branding and activation solutions.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and acquire new clients across industries.
- Build and grow high-value client accounts.
- Create opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Develop strong relationships with senior decision-makers and brand leaders.
- Drive consistent revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Client Acquisition & Consultative Selling
- Present branding, event, and activation solutions to prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend creative business solutions.
- Lead presentations, proposals, and commercial discussions.
- Convert opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients.
- Work closely with marketing leaders, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide strategic and creative recommendations based on client goals.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support Business Development and Client Servicing teams.
- Encourage collaboration, ownership, and high performance.
- Help team members achieve their business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with design, strategy, production, and operations teams.
- Share market trends and client feedback to improve offerings.
- Ensure smooth execution of projects from concept to delivery.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
- Track sales activities, forecasts, and business performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and contracts.
Brand Representation
- Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Stay updated on market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Act as a strong ambassador for the brand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- A Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Background in Event Management, Brand Activations, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Branding, Events, or Activations.
- Strong understanding of branding, experiential marketing, retail branding, and physical brand activation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with CXOs, Marketing Heads, and senior corporate stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Ability to translate creative ideas into practical business solutions.
