Role Overview
This is not a typical trainer role — you won’t be teaching digital marketing or graphic design in isolation. Our course is built on the idea that modern marketers must be able to think strategically and create visually. So you’ll teach students both sides: how to plan a campaign and how to design the posters, reels, and landing page visuals for it. You’ll take a batch of students from “what is SEO” and “how to use Photoshop” all the way to building a real, working digital campaign that they’ve designed and executed themselves. If you love variety, enjoy switching between a Google Ads dashboard and an Illustrator canvas, and genuinely like teaching, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
Training Delivery
- Digital Marketing side: Teach SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and basic analytics.
- Graphic Design side: Teach Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, design principles (layout, colour theory, typography), branding, social media creatives, and basic motion/reel editing.
- Integration: Show students how design and marketing feed each other — for example, how a well-designed ad creative increases click-through rates, or how an SEO-friendly blog post needs visually appealing featured images.
Curriculum & Content
- Develop and regularly update a dual-discipline curriculum. Create lesson plans, practical exercises, and mini-projects that combine both skills.
- Design assignments like: “Create a Facebook ad campaign for a fictional café — design the carousel ad, write the copy, set up targeting, and track performance.”
- Maintain a library of templates, tools, tutorials, and real-world case studies.
Mentoring & Assessment
- Review student projects — both their creative work and their campaign numbers — and give constructive feedback.
- Conduct tests, quizzes, and portfolio reviews. Help each student build a strong, job-ready portfolio that shows their marketing results and design range.
- Provide career guidance: how to position oneself as a “Digital Marketing & Design” professional, how to build a LinkedIn profile, and how to crack interviews in agencies or in-house teams.
Staying Updated
- Keep yourself updated on algorithm changes, new ad platform features, and design trends.
- Experiment with tools and techniques and bring fresh insights directly into the classroom.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Demonstrable experience in both digital marketing and graphic design — you’ve run campaigns (even small ones) and you have a portfolio of design work to show.
- Proficiency in:
- Design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (After Effects or Premiere Pro is a big plus).
- Marketing platforms: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and an understanding of SEO tools.
- Ability to teach in Malayalam and English with clarity and patience.
- A mindset of “I can make a complex thing simple” — you’re good with metaphors, board drawings, and live demos.
Good to Have
- Prior classroom training, workshop, or online coaching experience.
- Certifications such as Google Digital Marketing, Meta Certified, or a design degree/diploma.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress, email marketing tools, or CRM platforms.
- Experience creating video content (Reels, shorts) and motion graphics.
