The design for the ERM network in conjunction with the architecture teams connecting from on-premise to cloud, the “Hybrid Environment”.

Reviewing high/low level designs from vendors and architects to align with the strategic intent for infrastructure both on-premise and cloud.

Creation of Infrastructure architecture domain for connectivity, PaaS, servers and storage

Review and own the Infrastructure services in all core areas of technology

Creating repetitive and predictable service catalogue for the infrastructure by adopting Infrastructure as Code

Championing the Cloud PaaS and IaaS approach and the services within the cloud stack (private and public)

Implementing the standards and driving service reliability within the groups and adopting the enterprise architecture guide within the network designs

Management and liaison with the required technology vendors for infrastructure

Assisting with troubleshooting of major network and infrastructure issues and acting as the last line of defense when required.

Ensuring solutions are designed with security in mind and championing the infrastructure governance according to the Enterprise/Technical Architecture frameworks

Encouraging innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.

Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science

Infrastructure Cloud Certifications in Azure, AWS and GCP at Architecture or expert level
-
Networking certifications CCNP/CCIE, F5, Checkpoint, Meraki, SaSe – Zscaler

Experience in the design of complex networks and Infrastructure, with extensive documentation skills

Advance knowledge of Active Directory, forest designs, group policy and Authentication for identity.Extensive knowledge in EntraID and cloud based IAM services.

xtensive knowledge with security platforms and security architecture

Experience in PaaS and IaaS designs for hosted solutions

Advanced routing and switching knowledge, with voice.

Advanced knowledge in proxy technology, load balancing and remote access

Extensive skills in network design and Infrastructure Solutions.

Advanced knowledge in the infrastructure services for cloud and governance, as a shared service.

Advanced knowledge of the Cloud services in the Azure/AWS/GCP services estate and have demonstrated deployment in using software defined networks for LAN/WAN.

Advantages to have experience with SaSe deployments and software

Advantages to have experience in IaC (infrastructure as Code) platforms (Terraform, Ansible)

Demonstrated implementation capabilities within the public cloud environments with infrastructure as code for blueprints and templates

Strong Scripting languages in Powershell, JSON, HCL, YAML, Python and automation systems as an example

Advanced knowledge in Virtual WAN/VPC in Cloud (Azure and AWS), Express Route and virtual network technologies

Advanced knowledge in the security suites within public cloud and have demonstrated the deployment of the required services.

Experience in automated CI/CD, Containers and Cloud Technologies Utilizing the latest advancement in Azure, AWS and GCP technology and new design patterns to enhance usability and functionality of the IT solution

Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills

Demonstrated managing resources and developed an efficient team to transition support tasks

Technical expertise in architecture, designing and implementing new Telecommunications systems based on technology from vendors, such as Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Alcatel-Lucent and F5;

Backup Strategies and implementation of restoration services and playbooks.

ITIL and ITSM framework qualifications

Software coding qualifications is an advantage

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or in a related field or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge. Industry Certifications is an advantage.

10+ years in Enterprise Infrastructure Management in large organizations for hybrid cloud
-
5+ years in deploying and/or onboarding networks in Cloud, software defined networks and complex routing environments
