As an Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services at Deloitte Consulting, you will play the role of strategic architect who creates and(or) reviews enterprise grade architectures and also provides best practices for technical delivery for complex, enterprise-solutions. You will lead and guide multidisciplinary, global teams and serve as a senior mentor to managers and junior staff. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to align solution strategies with business goals, contribute to sales and proposal development, and ensure rigorous management of end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, estimation, and executive reporting for successful project outcomes.
Work you'll do
As an Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading hybrid cloud infrastructure strategy, solution design, and delivery for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Develop and execute hybrid cloud infrastructure strategies aligned to business priorities, market trends, and client transformation goals
- Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of infrastructure managed services, including automation and generative artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities
- Build client relationships, identify business opportunities, support go-to-market efforts, and contribute to commercial growth
- Lead large, cross-functional teams across architecture, engineering, operations, and service delivery to execute complex programs
- Establish governance, security, compliance, and risk management practices across hybrid and multi-cloud environments

AI & Data offers a full spectrum of solutions for designing, developing, and operating cutting-edge Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. Our offering helps clients innovate, and enhance their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can mature and scale effectively.
AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.

Qualifications
Required:
- 18+ years of experience in information technology infrastructure, including 8+ years in leadership roles focused on hybrid cloud, managed services, or cloud platform engineering
- Experience selling, designing, and scaling infrastructure managed services for enterprise clients
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with automation frameworks, service desk implementation, AIOps, and end user compute environments
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams across infrastructure transformation or cloud services programs
- Experience managing security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Ability to travel 40-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating generative artificial intelligence capabilities into infrastructure operations or managed services environments
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and supporting sales pursuits for infrastructure or cloud-led transformation programs
- Experience advising senior client stakeholders on infrastructure modernization and operating model transformation
- Experience driving digital transformation and workforce development initiatives
- Experience delivering infrastructure solutions for enterprise data center and cloud transformation programs
