Job Title: Direct & Indirect Tax Specialist (Qualified CA)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4–7 Years (Post-Qualification)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4–7 years of post-qualification

experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation. The role involves end-to-end ownership

of tax compliance, advisory, and client management. The candidate should be

capable of independently handling multiple clients, managing assessments, and

providing practical tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Tax (Income Tax & TDS)

 Review and finalisation of Income Tax Returns for companies, firms, and

individuals

 Handling TDS compliance, reconciliation, and advisory

 Advance tax planning, computation, and optimisation strategies

 Managing scrutiny cases, assessments, and responding to notices

 Representation before tax authorities, wherever required

 Leading and reviewing tax audit assignments

Indirect Tax (GST)

 Review and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)

 GST reconciliation and compliance management across clients

 Advisory on GST implications for business transactions

 Handling GST audits, notices, and departmental queries

 Managing registrations, amendments, and litigation support

 Ensuring compliance with E-invoicing and E-way bill regulations

Compliance & Advisory

 Ensuring timely compliance with all statutory requirements

 Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients

 Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and implementing the same

 Identifying tax risks and suggesting mitigation strategies

Client & Team Management

 Managing end-to-end client relationships and acting as a key point of contact

 Coordinating with internal teams and reviewing junior team members’ work

 Ensuring high-quality deliverables within deadlines

Key Skills Required

 Strong expertise in Direct and Indirect Taxation

 Hands-on experience in handling assessments and notices

 Ability to independently manage multiple clients

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Excellent communication and client management abilities

 Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, and MS Excel

Preferred Experience

 Experience in a CA firm/consulting firm

 Exposure to litigation, tax planning, and advisory assignments

 Experience in handling complex client structures
