Accounting Associate

Location: Remote

Company: Beautystreams

Beautystreams is a global B2B platform providing trend intelligence and market insights to the beauty industry. We work with leading international beauty brands and operate as a lean, fully remote team across multiple countries.

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager and Sales team and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and invoicing processes that support our global client base.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Invoicing
Manage the full sales invoicing cycle from request through invoice release
Coordinate pre-invoicing requirements, including client and vendor setup, purchase orders, approval documents, and supporting paperwork
Prepare invoices using established templates and route them for Finance Manager approval
Release approved invoices to clients
Record validated invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the internal Sales Invoice Master Tracker (SIMT)
Update Salesforce with invoice information and payment status
File invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation in Google Drive client folders
Collections & Payment Management
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
Record incoming payments and allocate them accurately across client accounts
Update payment status in Salesforce
Respond to client and sales team queries relating to invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments
Escalate complex issues to the Finance Manager when required
Reporting & Finance Support
Prepare and distribute weekly regional statements covering renewals and sales performance
Support monthly reporting activities
Assist with ad hoc finance projects and requests as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, finance administration, or a similar accounting role
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment tracking, and receivables management
Technical Skills
Advanced Google Sheets skills, including:Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and COUNTIFS, IFERROR, Data Validation
Building trackers, reconciliations, and summary reports from raw data
Highly detail-oriented and organised
Able to work independently in a remote environment
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Clear and professional communicator
Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
