Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into WordPress and Shopify platforms.
Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness, SEO, and fast loading times.
Manage e-commerce functionalities including product catalogs, payment gateways, and shipping methods.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to both WordPress and Shopify sites.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in WordPress, Shopify, and e-commerce technologies.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements and skills :

Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin development, and WooCommerce integration.
Expertise in Shopify development, including Liquid templating, theme customization, and Shopify Apps.
Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with API integration, especially RESTful services.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
