Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Operations & Administrative Assistant to support daily hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with hotel systems, particularly Lightspeed PMS, and be comfortable handling administrative tasks, cashiering functions, timekeeping, reporting, and general remote support for hotel staff.

Key Responsibilities1. Timekeeping & Payroll Support

Review employee timecards daily for accuracy.
Enter and adjust employee time records as directed.
Monitor missed punches, overtime, and attendance discrepancies.
Communicate with department managers regarding timekeeping issues.
Prepare payroll-related reports for management review.

2. Cashiering & Lightspeed PMS Administration

Perform daily cashier audits and reconciliation in Lightspeed PMS.
Verify cash, credit card, and direct billing transactions.
Balance front desk cashier reports and investigate variances.
Review guest folios for accuracy.
Assist with revenue and cashier reporting.
Support front desk staff with Lightspeed PMS questions and troubleshooting.

3. Remote Administrative & Computer Support

Assist hotel leadership with administrative tasks.
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and operational documents.
Manage electronic filing and record keeping.
Support email correspondence and data entry projects.
Create and maintain operational trackers and logs.
Assist with Marriott-related system administration as assigned.
Provide remote support to hotel team members for routine computer and system tasks.

4. Reporting & Compliance

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest information.
Ensure compliance with company policies and hotel procedures.
Assist with audits and documentation requests.

Qualifications

Previous hotel operations experience preferred.
Experience with Lightspeed PMS required.
Experience with Marriott systems preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and computer.

Preferred Experience

Hotel Front Desk, Night Audit, or Accounting background.
Cashiering and revenue reconciliation experience.
Payroll or timekeeping administration experience.
Experience supporting a hotel with 100+ rooms.

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule with availability to support hotel operations during U.S. business hours.
May require occasional evening or weekend support.

Performance Metrics

Accuracy of timekeeping entries.
Timely completion of cashier audits.
Reporting accuracy.
Response time to operational requests.
Compliance with hotel procedures and deadlines.

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications. Hotel operations, Lightspeed PMS, and Marriott experience are highly preferred.

Pay: ₹13,948.09 - ₹25,000.00 per month
